He burned Kamadeva with his third eye! Later, Shiva calmed down and understood that love and balance are important for the world.

🌼 Birth of Sati (Daughter of the Mountain)

In this part of the comics, a king named Daksha and his wife had a daughter named Sati. She was actually a form of Devi (Shakti). Sati grew up to be kind, brave, and very devoted to Shiva. She loved him deeply and wanted to marry him.

He did not like Shiva because Shiva looked simple and different. Still, Shiva and Sati got married and lived happily together.

🌼 Different Form Of 'Devi-Legends of the Mother Goddess'

This comics also describes about 'Saraswati'
Ancient Indian scriptures describe Saraswati in three forms -as a goddess, as a river and as speech. There are several versions of the story of Saraswati's birth in Indian mythology. One version says that she was created from brahma's mind. When brahma asked her who she was, she told him that since she was born from him, it was for him to give her a place in the universe. Brahma called her Saraswati and told her that she would exist in three forms. She was to stay on the tip of everybody's tongue in the form of speech. Another portion of her would stay with him, as part of his being. The third part of her would exist as a river on earth.

The river Saraswati is mentioned several times in the Vedas. The waters of the river are said to be pure and pristine. Saraswatisangama, the place where Saraswati joins the ocean, is considered holy. There are various stories in Indian mythology that talk of this place. One such story is about Chandra, the moon god. Chandra married Daksha's twenty-seven daughters, but he loved one more than the others. Her name was Rohini. His other wives felt neglected and complained to their father.

Daksha cursed Chandra to suffer and lose his radiance. Without the moon's light, the world fell into darkness and people were panic- stricken. The gods went to daksha for help Chandra apologised for his behaviour. Daksha forgave him and said that if he took a dip in the Saraswatisangama, his glow would return for half of every month. Chandra did as he was told the waters of, the saraswati purified him and the world was saved from darkness and chaos. Saraswati's white clothes represent purity of thought. Her simple appearance signifies the fact that wisdom and knowledge are beyond material wealth. Saraswati's attire also has hints of blue. The blue reflects her form as a river and signifies fluidity.

🌼  Nine Different Forms Of DURGA: NAVADURGA
During Navaratri, Durga or Shakti is worshipped in nine different forms, each of which glorifies a particular strength of the goddess. These nine forms are called the Navadurga. These forms celebrate and honour the goddess in her different roles as mother, consort, warrior, creator and destroyer.

1. SHAILAPUTRI - Sati was reborn as Shailaputri, the daughter of the mountain king Himavan. Her name means 'daughter of the mountain'.

2. BRAHMACHARINI - Shailaputri or Parvati, was determined to marry Shiva and to fulfil her aim, performed severe penance. Brahma saw her faith and devotion and declared that she would be worshipped as Brahmacharini, the ascetic woman.
3. CHANDRAGHANTA - Chandraghanta means 'the one with a pleasing moon in the shape of a bell resting on her forehead'. This was the form Parvati assumed at her wedding.
4. KUSHMANDA - Kushmanda is believed to have created the universe from her smile. 'Ku' means 'a little', 'Ushma' means 'warmth', and 'Anda' refers to the 'cosmic egg'.
5. SKANDAMATA - As Skandamata, Parvati is the gentle and loving mother of Skanda. Her maternal nature is worshipped in this form.
6. KATYAYINI-In order to vanquish the demon Mahisha, the goddess took on the form of the warrior Katyayini. She entered the battlefield wielding many weapons and destroyed him.
7. KAALRATRI Kaalratri sprang from the third eye of Parvati and defeated the asura generals Chanda and Munda. She wreaked havoc in the asura army and killed the two demons.
8. MAHAGAURI. - When Parvati transformed into the fierce Kaushiki to fight Shumbha and Nishumbha, she left a part of herself on Mount Kailasha. Known as Mahagauri, this manifestation stayed back and protected Kailasha.
